THE NINETIES

Weber's recent paintings are the result of what can be called premier coup. The artist applies a light wash of oil paint to evoke the effects of hazy sky (and) light on water... The result is a sensuality that is simultaneously solid and elusive, bold and restrained, celebratory and ascetic.
